Overview

This lab is designed to help you become familiar with several features within Microsoft’s Operations Management Suite. In this lab, you will begin by creating a Lab VM (Exercise 0) to carry out the remaining exercises. Then you will create 2 VMs in Azure and 1 in AWS. We will use these servers to interact with the OMS workspace and Azure Automation features. Next, you will then create an Operations Management Suite (OMS) workspace and an Azure Automation account. Finally, you will add your VMs to be managed by OMS. The OMS features you will work with include: Insights & Analytics: Log Analytics, Automation & Control: Azure Automation DSC, and Security & Compliance: Security and Audit Solution.
