I’m trying to connect with my azure subscription using the Azure Powershell module.
After I download my publish settings file I import it using the Import-AzurePublishSettingsFile and is does not return any errors. But when I try to ask anything related to my subscription I get the following error:

Get-AzureLocation : Please connect to internet before executing this cmdlet

This happens with every command that should return some Azure account-related value.

I Hope you can help me out.

    Best Regards

      Hey Marvin,

The only time I’ve ever ran into this is when my machine wasn’t connected to the Internet at the time.
      Try calling:

      Get-AzureSubscription | Select SubscriptionName

      Select-AzureSubscription “one of your subscriptions”
